MY NEW HOLY GRAIL FOUNDATION: GIORGIO ARMANI MAESTRO FUSION MAKEUP

Hi guys, 

i've been waiting for the launch of GIORGIO ARMANI MAESTRO FUSION MAKEUP SPF15 FOUNDATION,  what makes me interested was Maestro is a new step in foundation technology, an ultra fine oil pigment suspension that perfect the complexion, it is water and powder free base totally non comedogenic and contains five oils which evaporate gradually to moisture the skin. It is incredibly silky and super lightweight, doesn't feel wearing foundation it still my skin but BETTER.

After reading a few blog, they show the comparison bioskin tradisional foundation and Maestro foundation result, I doubt the result i think maybe its only a marketing set up.

But it proven on my skin, my skin looks smooth, you can see below on my back hand before and after using Maestro.

Armani tested during one week by 60 women aged 20-50, with all skin types except extreme ones and the result is:
 Blends into skin on application: 100%*
Easy to wear, you forget that you are wearing make-up: 100%*
 Easy to apply, gives rapid and perfect make-up result every time: 98%*
 It’s a pleasure to use this make up product: 95%*
 Natural make-up result without make up feel: 95% *


Giorgio Armani Maestro Fusion Makeup comes in a matte glass bottle with a dropper which is very different from another foundation bottle. I only need a few drops to cover my entire face, I had doubt that it could cover redness and dark spot because Maestro very thin and runny, but i was wrong. This is the most amazing product i ever purchased after GIORGIO ARMANI LUMINOUS SILK FOUNDATION

My most favorite thing is i don't need tools to apply Maestro, with my fingertips it spread so easily and smoothly. I don't need face primer and powder too. This is a unique texture, i never found any other texture like this, when i spread on my face its feels like a mixture between oil and powder. maybe because of this, Maestro so easy to apply on my face and very weightless like using serum.

COVERAGE: Sheer to medium. Like a second skin but cover my redness and dark spot, i only need two tiny drops to cover half of my face.

FINISHING: For the first two minutes after applying it quite powdery and satin finish, but 30 minutes later it blend naturaly on my skin and looks glowy. When i apply Maestro, i was very impressed my skin changed smooth, moist and firm. Without face primer underneath, Maestro working very well in minimizing pores on my skin perfectly.

STAYING POWER:  Maestro good on oil control eventhough i have oily combi skin this foundation stay after 11 hours of application, a whole day i don't need to blot even when i"m sweating a lot. Without primer and powder my skin still looks perfect and more flawless, dewy but not greasy.

After using Maestro for 2 days, my skin looks better. For me it just not a foundation but it also a skincare to reduce dark spot and redness.

Pros:

- good coverage but feels like using serum

-smells like a baby powder

- good oil control

- no need tools for applying, no need a face primer, powder and blot paper

- not cakey, accentuate dry patches and melting.

Cons:

- with SPF 15, if you take a picture with flash it will result a whitecast.

With $62 for 30ml, i think its worth. I can save more because i don"t need to buy face primer and powder,

This is the first time i found a foundation that have a good result and could reduce my dark spot and redness, Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk was good, but Maestro are much better.

Hi, everyone! for the first post of September i would review my new favorite lipstick, COVERGIRL LIP PERFECTION HEAVENLY i bought from www.drugstore.com only $6.99.

COVERGIRL LIP PERFECTION 

This is a bright pink coral lipstick, really gives you fresh and awakened look. I love the formula of CoverGirl Lip Perfection it doesn't dry my lips and glides on smoothly on my lips, the formula is pigmented, smooth, moisturizing, creamy and long lasting! It stayed on me through eating and drinking.

Packaging for this lipstick is nice with gunmetal cap, also has a color swatches and shade name on the bottom.

I love Covergirl Lip Perfection Lipstick in Heavenly, really brightens up my face. This is my new favorite lipstick and the best drugstore lipstick i've tried!

REVIEW BURBERRY SHEER

REVIEW BURBERRY SHEER LUMINOUS FLUID FOUNDATION #TRENCH 5

Ladies, udah lama aku naksir sama BURBERRY SHEER LUMINOUS FLUID FOUNDATION seharga $52 with 30ml. lebih murah dari Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation seharga $59,, yang bikin aku tertarik sama Burberry sheer ini, yang pertama sih karena packagingnya, mewah banget! pasti kamu juga naksir packagingnya kan? hihi..

Kalau diliat dari gambar diatas kayaknya dikit banget ya isi foundationnya, ternyata dibalik tutupnya masih ada kaca dan pump, yang aku suka pumpnya ini bisa diputer lock and unlock.

Untuk NC25-30 shade Trench #05 pas warnanya di skintoneku, walau pertama apply agak keputihan tapi semakin lama warnanya ngeblend, dan juga semakin lama semakin oxi, LOL

Honestly, aku ragu sama kualitas Burberry sheer ini, sempet baca di beberapa beauty blogger dan makeupalley.com kalau Burberry sheer ini "not recommended for oily skin". Tapi dasar banci foundie and banci packaging, tetep penasaran sama foundie satu ini hehehe, sekalian mau compare sama Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk a.k.a GALS, Benefit Oxygen Wow dan Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation.

Tekstur :

creamy gel, lumayan cukup thick

Coverage : 

Sheer to medium, 

                 

Finishing :

karena lumayan thick. Diapply pakai brush finishingnya kurang bagus, cakey. Aku apply with fingertips lebih bagus finishingnya. Matte-satin finish, tapi engga bikin muka jadi "luminous". Biasa banget nothing special.

Staying power :

without primer, 3 jam udah oily banget, greasy, cakey, 5 jam kemudian melted

with primer, 3 jam kemudian udah pecah, engga melted tapi pecah ya huhu

Engga selalu istilah "ada harga ada kualitas" , Burberry ini formulanya dimukaku engga sebagus packaging dan harganya, aku coba apply pakai brush (RT expert brush dan EDM flat top), finishingnya jadi cakey, whitehead dimukaku lebih terlihat jelas, darkspot masih keliatan dan flaky,

Coba apply lagi pakai jari, ditap-tap. Finishingnya lebih bagus, lebih smooth lebih nutup dark spot.

Aku coba apply without primer dan diset pakai NYC loose powder, 2 jam pertama mulai keliatan oily di hidung, setelah 3 jam pemakaian makin oily di hidung, dagu, jidat, pori-poriku makin terlihat besar,  cakey, mulai ada gumpalan foundie di lipetan hidung,

5 jam pemakaian melted, bener-bener meleleh sampai keatas bibirku gumpalan yang ada dilipetan hidung tadi 

ada "lelehan" foundie diatas bibir dan bawah hidung,

Aku coba pakai diatas primer dan di set with Chanel loose powder, staying power sedikit lebih bagus, pori-pori samar, tapi kali ini lebih parah daripada pakai tanpa primer, foundationnya pecah dimukaku, Walau hasilnya kalau difoto j bagus, flawless. Tapi untuk difoto close up hmmm, nightmare terlihat jelas "pecahnya"
selain itu finishingnya juga engga kayak second skin di aku, masih terlihat seperti pakai foundation

Selain itu, Burberry ini perih dimukaku, mungkin karena kandungan alkoholnya lumayan kenceng ya, hmmm.. GALS pun ada kandungan alkoholnya tapi engga bikin mukaku breakout sih,,
 tiga hari berturut-turut pakai Burberry sheer ini sukses bikin 4 jerawat muncul dipipiku, huhu...

Semua ini aku test di indorr ya, engga keringetan, engga kena panas, tapi staying powernya payah banget, engga kebayang kalo dibawa panas-panasan and kena keringet greasy and pecahnya kayak gimana dimuka, LOL

Burberry Sheer ini not recommended for oily or oily-combi skin, untuk yang cocok sama Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua, Lancome Teint Miracle mungkin bisa cocok sama Burberry ini, aku engga cocok sama Chanel VLA, Lancome Teint Miracle dan juga engga cocok sama Burberry Sheer ini.

kalau dicompare sama GALS, Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation, Benefit Oxygen Wow, Covergirl & Olay Simply Ageless Foundation lebih bagus mana sama Burberry ?

- Tiga brand diatas selain Covergirl (CG) finishingnya beda sama burberry, aku compare sama CG yang finishingnya mirip sama Burberry (satin to matte) aku lebih pilih CG, lebih flawless, lebih tahan banting dimukaku. Kesimpulannya, empat brand diatas lebih bagus daripada burberry, bahkan walau Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua dan Lancome Teint Miracle juga melting dimukaku,, tapi dua brand ini lebih oke finishingnya dibanding Burberry.

Mungkin harus nemu jodoh primer dan loose powder yang oke untuk burberry sheer, tapi kalau udah bikin muka numbuh jerawat banyak sih aku nyerah untuk lanjutin pakai Burberry sheer.

Well, Foundation kan cocok-cocokan dimuka setiap orang, ada juga kok yang cocok sama Burberry ini.

Ladies, mau nambahin racun lagi nih hihi, sebenernya udah lama pakai MILANI LIQUIF' EYE METTALIC EYELINER PENCIL REVIEW, PHOTOS, SWATCHES tapi baru sempet sekarang reviewnya. 

Milani liquif'eye salah satu holy grail eyeliner pencilku,, setelah sebelumnya pakai URBAN DECAY 24/7 GLIDE ON PENCIL dan ESTEE LAUDER DOUBLE WEAR STAY IN PLACE EYE PENCIL
perbandingan harga dari tiga brand ini lumayan jauh lho, Milani $6.99, Urban Decay $19. Estee lauder $21.. Dan yang paling bagus Milani staying powernya dimataku, engga selalu istilah "ada harga ada rupa" itu bener ya hihi..

Milani Liquif'eye ada empat warna lima warna, Black, Aqua, Brown, Silver, Gold. Yang aku suka dari eyeliner ini, lembut eyelinernya jadi engga akan sakit waktu diglide, tapi sayangnya karena terlalu lembut jadi sering-sering diserut hihi.

Selain itu, aku suka warnanya lumayan bold lho, kamu bisa liat perbedaan Milani Liquif'eye VS Urban Decay dan Milani Liquif'eye VS Estee Lauder dibawah ini

Staying powernya oke banget ya ?
Meski namanya "mettalic" tapi engga semua shade mettalic/shimmer, Black dan Brown matte. Dan staying power semuanya engga sama lho di waterline,, 
dari tiga warna yang aku udah coba staying power yang paling oke diwaterline itu warna Aqua,, yang paling cepet smudge warna silver. Tapi kalau staying power di lid mataku, aqua dan black oke (aku belum pernah pakai silver di lid mata jadi engga bisa compare)
bahkan sempet dibawa tidur semaleman, engga luntur tuh eyelinernya dari lidku, kalau diwaterline ya pasti udah lenyap hihi..
Dan Milani ini dicuci di air mengalir sambil digosok-gosok, masih stay eyelinernya walau agak pudar

Susah engga sih bersihin Milani liquif'eye ini ?
dibanding dua brand diatas Milani yang lumayan agak susah dibersihin, tapi bukan berarti sama sekali engga bisa dihapus lhooo, sejauh ini aku engga pernah ada masalah sih buat bersihinnya, bisa dibersihin pakai L'oreal Eye Makeup Remover. Dan aku juga test Milani ini dicuci di air mengalir sambil digosok-gosok, masih stay eyelinernya walau agak pudar

Hi, ladies aku mau share lagi nih salah satu my holy grail blush, MAC VERA PEARLMATTE SUNDAY AFTERNOON, limited edition from Mac Vera Collection, aku beli ini di www.nordstrom.com seharga $28 dengan ukuran 12gram, sizenya hampir sama dengan Mac Studio Fix Powder Foundation 

Mac Vera Pearlmatte ada dua shade yaitu, sunday afternoon dan flower fantasy. Karena warna sunday afternoon lebih eye catching dan cantik, aku pilih shade ini ditambah ada embosan ladybugnya hihi.

Vera pearlmatte ini dalam satu pan ada empat warna,, tiga warna matte ( bright pink, plum, white, tapi sayangnya warna putih ini cuma sedikit ada dipan, kayak semacem "list", sekarang sudah hilang warnanya dipan) dan satu warna shimmer atau pearl finish, mungkin karena ini jadi dinamain "pearl matte" LOL.

Aku swatch satu persatu emang agak susah keluar sih warnanya, yang paling susah keluar bagian warna bright pink matte, dipan pink banget warnanya,, tapi diswatch susah banget keluar warnnya, bener-bener clean.

 Warna yang paling gampang keluar bagian plum dan pearlnya,, tapi setelah diblend semua baru deh warna cantiknya keluar 

Staying powernya ini bagus banget lho, aku punya beberapa powder blush mac tapi rata-rata staying power blush mac kurang tahan lama dimukaku, 

face powder yang aku punya baru vera pearlmatte dan Mac Summer Rose Beauty Powder , semua face powder ini staying power lebih bagus dari powder blush biasa, kalau dihitung pun dengan size yang lebih besar dari powder blush, beauty/face powder lebih murah lho harganya  hihi.

Untuk blush yg sheer kayak gini, aku apply pakai pakai E.L.F STUDIO COMPLEXION BRUSH, pakai brush ini blush yang sheer jadi lebih pigmented warnanya, ini penampakan Mac Vera Pearlmatte Sunday Afternoon

beberapa swatches di blog lain cantik banget warnanya, sheer soft pink with no shimmer.  Ternyata IRLnya lebih bright, sempet ragu sih sama warnanya, ternyata cantik juga hehe

walau sheer, tapi lipstick ini cukup pigmented lho, teksturenya light, moist and easy to glide and smell like rosewater bisa jadi mood booster hihi..

kalau dibilang "Shine" dibibirku engga terlalu shine atau glossy mungkin karena bibirku lagi kering kondisinya,,  untuk jenis "sheer" lipstick CHANEL ROUGE COCO SHINE  ini termasuk pigmented lho, aku punya 50 riviage warnanya lebih pigmented dari 55 romance ini.

ROUGE COCO SHINE ini lebih moist lho daripada ROUGE COCO HYDRATING CREME LIPSTICK, dibibirku hydrating creme lipstik sedikit drying dibanding rouge coco shine. Pigmentasinya pun, rouge coco hydrating creme lebih sheer dari rouge coco shine

Staying powernya untuk harga lipstick 300,000 keatas, engga sebanding sih hehehe, aku lebih suka staying power Lancome L'absolu Rouge (next aku akan review Lancome L'absolu Rouge) atau MAC lipstick tapi sayangnya mac bikin drying :(
